Obituary for Lucille Harmon (Agostinho)
Lucille (Agostinho) Harmon, 67, of Warren, died Tuesday, February 5, at Miriam Hospital. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Carmella (Castigliego) Agostinho. Beloved wife of George Harmon. Loving sister of Philomena Galuppo of Fall River, MA, Frances (Paul) Baker of Warren, RI, Arthur (Carol) Agostinho of Sewell, NJ, and Roseanne (David) Chee of North Attleboro, MA. She was also the devoted Aunt of 12 nephews and nieces.
She was employed at Country Club Cleaners for many years before retiring. Lucille loved to play bingo, play cards, listen to Doo Wop music, and being with family and friends. She enjoyed socializing with the knitting group at Kickimuit Village, even though she didn’t actually knit. Most of all, she enjoyed and valued the time spent with her two young nieces, Lindsay and Cassie.
Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, where the family will receive friends 4-8pm, Tuesday, February 12th. Final visitation will be Wednesday, February 13th, 10-11am followed immediately by the funeral service herein the funeral home. Interment will be private.
