  • I was sad to hear of Barbara's passing. I am the youngest of LaForge cousins. We lost touch many years ago, after my dad, Harve LaForge passed away and my mother, Eva, more my brother Ronnie and myself to Connecticut. I just recently reconnected with her and was hoping that my brother and I would be able to come down to see her and meet you all. But then came COVID and then my brother passed away in May. I still have Aunt Pauline and cousin Joyce that I hope to see sometime in the near future. Hopefully I can meet all of you also. Debra LaForge Markham

  • Robert T. Hamilton, classmate. Remembrance comments for Barbara Alger Dallaire. We were both members of Warren High School class of 1963. The first to matriculate 4 years at the proud new school. Barbara had many good friends and memories of those times. There were many dedicated faculty such as Mrs. Sylvia, Mrs. Parks, Mrs. Wayland, Miss Honan, Principal Roach, Coach Abruzzi. Norm and Leon Urban and others. She was fortunate to have grown-up as a "boomer" from the 1940's to the 1960's in her "wonderful life" town of Warren, RI. Where we all new each other. Working with Luther Blount at the "Bay Queen" on Mt. Hope Bay had to be heaven on earth. Barbara enjoyed a large loving family who carry on for her. Thank you for Barbara Alger Dallaire. God Bless her! Robert T. Hamilton, classmate. of the

  • Dear Billy, I am so saddened to hear of Barbara's passing. Your sister was such a doll face to so many of us. One always knew when she was was around, for all we heard was that contagious laugh of hers and that Alger grin on her face that gave away that she had been up to something suspicious. Barbara was so loved by many and will be missed by the same. When we both lived at East Bay Apt's going to the pool with her was the time of your life, if she didn't get a perfect tan that day, look out.! I'm so glad to have shared many years of friendship with your sister, for now I have all these memories to hang on to of the fun times and heartfelt talks we shared together. All I can think of as a I express my sympathies to you is your sisters long time friend Charlene Dionne Stanzione who passed away just six yrs. ago and say that Heaven will no longer be the same now that your sister and Charlene are reunited after all these years. To Barbara's sons and family: I am so sorry for your loss. It is so difficult when you loose a parent, especially your mother. I lost mine in 1966 when I was 17 yrs.old. All I can say to you at this time, is hang on to your memories of her and always remember, that she is the woman who was there when you boys took your first breath, and I hope you got the chance to be with her when she took her last. Why? Because I know she would have been so happy to know that you were there to say goodbye for she was there when she hello to you. Be proud of your mom for I know she had her struggles in life, but now their over and she's at peace finally and know she'll always be with you in her never ending love for you. All of you be at peace with her passing and know that you were all loved so very much by her. God Bless you all.

  • My condolences and prayers go out to Steve ,Ronny and the family . I'm so sorry for your loss. I loved your mom .Her laugh for many years bowling together. Lots of good times ,when we all got together. God Bless you Barbara. RIP
