Beatriz Pimentel, 91, of Warren, RI, passed away at her daughters home in Gardner, MA on Wednesday, November 16, 2022.

Born in St. Michael, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Ermelinda (Pimentel) Araujo.

Mrs. Pimentel had worked as a machine operator for American Tourister for 23 years, retiring in 1985. She also enjoyed to crotchet.

She is survived by two sons, Fernando Costa of Cranston, RI, and John Costa of East Providence, RI, two daughters, Maria Pacheco and her husband Tony of Warren, RI, and Ana Costa and her wife Margot Elias of Gardner, MA, two sisters, Lucy Araujo and Conceicao Araujo, both of Texas, twenty five grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. She was also the mother of the late Joseph Costa and Anna Maria Costa.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022, from 9-10AM in Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd., Warren, RI.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022, at 10AM in Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd., Warren, RI.

Burial will follow in St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery, Vernon St., Warren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
