Obituary For Beverly A. Stanley
Beverly A. (Godek) Stanley, 81, of Barrington, RI, passed away, Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at Hope Hospice, Providence, RI.
She was the wife of 60 years, to the late Elson W. Stanley.
Born in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Frances (Boldyga) Godek.
Mrs. Stanley grew up in Warren, RI, and was a Graduate of Warren High School, Class of 1958. She had worked as a secretary in the Trust Investment Department for Industrial National Bank in Providence. She had also worked for Child and Little Realtors and Michael D'Orlando, CLU. She enjoyed spending time working in her flower gardens and was a member of the Barrington and Warren Senior Citizens Center before her illness. Mrs. Stanley was a Communicant of the former St. Casimir's Church.
She is survived by two sons, Stephen M. Stanley and his wife Laura of Lakeville, MA, and Scott M. Stanley of Bristol, RI, and three grandchildren, Erin, Shayelia, and Matthew.
Calling hours are omitted.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 2, 2022, at 10AM in Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd., Warren.
Burial will follow in St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery, Greenlawn Ave., Warren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hope Health Hospice, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI, 02904.
