Obituary For Christopher Alan Widomski

Newport - Christopher Alan Widomski, 47, passed away in Newport, Rhode Island on February 21, 2018 due to a long term illness.

He is survived by his mother, Sharon Drew Alves, step father, Joseph Alves, father, Stephen Widomski, and step mother, Carolyn Widomski. Chris's memory lives on through his brothers and step brothers; Stephen Widomski, Jr., Carl Widomski, RJ Alves, and Steve Goncalves and sister, Lisa Frommert. Also by his aunts, Ruth Dunnigan, Linda Bloomingdale, Joanne Blake and his uncles, Kerry Bloomingdale, Christopher Blake, Bob Comcheck, and his nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Christopher Alan worked as an actor in the New England area and was a member of SAG-AFTRA. He was also known for his historical remodeling projects around Newport, his multiple talents for playing guitar, singing, acting, movie reviewing, and creating memories with friends and family.

Memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at 2:00PM, located at United Congregational Church, 524 Valley Rd., Middletown, RI. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Warwick.

    Chris, I am in total shock over this news,you were so strong and my belief was that you would crush this like everything else you put your mind to. I am so glad that we reconnected a few years back and reshared some of our craziest memories. Love you forever my brother.... until we meet again. ��

    So sorry to hear of the passing of Chris. He was always very friendly. I know he did a lot of work around Newport and I am sure he was very skilled at his craft.
