Obituary For Craig Steven Nieuwenhuis
Warren -- Craig S. Nieuwenhuis, 50, of Warren died Friday, February 2, 2018 at Rhode Island Hospital.
Craig was born in Taunton, MA. a son of the late Roger and Dolores ( Perreira) Nieuwenhuis.
He has been a Warren resident since1995 coming from Florida.
Mr. Nieuwenhuis, was being cared for by Riverwood, he previously had worked in the Housekeeping Department at the Newport Naval Base.
Craig loved music, his family , all holidays, especially Christmas, he also liked going to Newport shopping and spending time in the shops there.
Craig is survived by his brothers Glenn Nieuwenhuis of Vernon Ct., Scott Nieuwenhuis of Taunton ,MA., and his sister Karen Nieuwenhuis of Carver. Ma.
He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a special grand niece Avery.
His funeral service will be held Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 10:00am in the SMITH FUNERAL and MEMORIAL SERVICES, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, RI, burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne , Ma. at 1:45pm
Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours are from 9:00 -10:00am on Thursday morning.

They say funerals are for the living... and that is very true. Although we will not be present at your funeral today, Craig, you will always be in our hearts! Scott will miss you terribly. He already does! We all loved you! May you rest in peace!
