Dear Michael, I am so sorry to learn of the death of your father. He and your mother were very kind to me when I joined the P.C. faculty in 1971, and for the rest of my almost 40 year career. My husband and I will pray for you in this time of grief. Sincerely, Alice Alice H.R.H. Beckwith Professor Emerita Art & Architectural History Providence College
