Obituary For Elizabeth Znoj

Warwick Elizabeth (Watkins) Znoj, 92 of Warwick, died suddenly on Monday, March 5, 2018 at the Brentwood Nursing Home in Warwick.

She was the former wife of the late Henry J. Znoj.

Betty, was born in Moriah, New York, a daughter of the late Charles O. and Emma (Bosworth) Watkins.

Mrs. Znoj was a homemaker, and an organist and piano teacher.

She was a graduate of Barrington High School Class of 1942.

She has been a Warwick resident for the last 33 years, coming from Swansea.

Elizabeth had attended the Barrington Baptist Church, where she was a Charter Member.

An exceptionally talented musician and seamstress, she was also a woman of faith and conviction, she was often found in Bible study groups and her real pride was with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was the mother of Donna Vento, Ronald Znoj and his wife Lynne, Linda Vandal, the late Thom Hudson, David Znoj and his wife Lucille, Jeffrey Znoj, and Jimmy Znoj and his wife Sue.

Mrs. Znoj was the grandmother of 15 and the great grandmother of14.

Betty was the sister of the late Charles B. Watkins, and the late Kathleen Bent.

She was also the grandmother of the late John Mark Giannini.

Her funeral service will be held Monday, March 12, 2018 at 11:00am in the SMITH FUNERAL and MEMORIAL SERVICES, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren. Burial will follow in the Vinnicum Woods Cemetery, Vinnicum Road, Swansea.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

    Please accept our condolences on your loss. Betty was a fine woman who will be missed both by her family and the community. June and I are in Florida and will not be able to attend the service, but please know that Betty will be in our prayers. Russ & June Geoffrey
