Obituary For Joyce W. Langello

Warren -- Joyce W. Langello, 87, of Warren , daughter of the late Thomas and Leah (Taylor) Clarke, beloved wife of the late John J. Langello Jr., passed away on January 4th, 2021 .

A lifelong resident of Warren, RI, she was the very much-adored mother of Kevin Langello, Kim Langello (Tom Nerney), Lori Mansi (Steve), John Langello (Kristine), Kristen Pimental (John), and Pam Blackmar (Lenny). Joyce leaves behind her ten grandchildren (Amy Langello; Kendra Langello; Stephen, Alex, and Adam Mansi; Tyler and Madison Pimental; James, Jen, and Rachel Blackmar, and eleven great-grandchildren, all who were her pride and joy.

Joyce was the sister of Joan McGuire (Herb), Thomas Clarke, Judy Leddy (Jerry), and was predeceased by her sister Carol Main-Gould (Keith) and brother Richard Clarke (Dawn). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Joyce had a zest for life, boundless energy, and loved family gatherings. After suffering a stroke at the age of 69, she confronted multiple health obstacles which she battled in her true warrior spirit. Nothing was going to keep her away from family and the next party. Joyce also loved the theater, listening to Bobby Justin sing, and she enthusiastically accompanied her daughters to Gipsy Kings concerts.

Of course, she would never be seen in public without her lipstick and a backup in her purse. She was perpetually beautiful, which made us wonder what was in her Avon moisturizer that we attributed to her youthful glow.

Everybody loved Joyce as she was a kind and gentle soul. She had a great sense of humor and loved to sing. When chatting with her, certain words would trigger her to burst out in song. Joyce had a memory like a steal trap, and a genuine interest in the details of everyones lives. We would half-heartedly respond to her seemingly endless questions until finally asking if she were writing a book. She will be deeply missed and forever in our broken hearts.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, funeral services will be private.

Memory donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Autism Speaks at https://www.autismspeaks.org/ or sent to Autism Speaks, 1060 State Road, Second Floor, Princeton, NJ 08540

Kevin, Kim, Lori, Kristen, John and Pam, I will always remember your mom for her â??up for anything spiritâ??, quick wit, beautiful smile and gentle soul. This woman was one of my favorite. Never a dull moment and always kind to everyone. She was one of a kind with her love of lipstick and the life of the party. Heaven will be more blessed with you in it! Love you Joyce! Fly with the angels as I know you will.

I came across this obituary by accident, looking up the passing of a nursing home resident. I'm not sure if you guys remember me from , I would say 2 yrs ago. Your mom and my mom were rehabbing at the manor. I work there and would often have great conversations with you all (especially Lori!, Lynyrd Skynyrd concert talk!) Anyway my mom adored Joyce as well as myself. She was a very sweet, kind, funny lady. I'm so sorry for your loss and will keep you all in my prayers. Such a difficult time for everyone , "this too shall pass". Andrea Guimond
