Obituary For Julia Clorenta LaFlamme

Julia Clorenta (Lombardi) LaFlamme, 90, of Bristol, died, Sunday, May 9, 2021, at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI. She lived in the moment, always on the go, enjoying all the things she loved. Always with a smile, she loved being with her family and friends. Born in Barrington, RI, she was the daughter of the late Peitro and Giovannina (Conti) Lombardi. Mrs. LaFlamme had worked as a certified nursing assistant at the Rhode Island Veterans Home in Bristol, for 10 years, retiring in 1992. She was a Communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Jean Brum and her husband Joseph of Warren, RI, two sisters, Phyllis Oliver of Barrington, RI and Inez Neveux of Warren, RI, three grandchildren, Christal Nichols, John Truver, and Meghan Brum, and two great grandchildren, Michael Truver and Victoria Nichols. She was preceded in death by her son, Charles "Chucky" LaFlamme and fourteen brothers and sisters. Funeral services and burial will be private. Arrangements are by Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, RI.
