Liz, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Although I wasn't around long enough to meet your mom I know she had to have been an amazing woman as you are her daughter. Be blessed and tight hugs. Love Jessi Desousa & family

Lee was one of the strongest and kindest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting... She would never let me come into her home without offering me food or taking the time to see how everything was going in my life. She was the grandmother I never expected or knew I needed and am so grateful to have had her be a part of my upbringing. I'll never forget how she cared for my brothers and I, how she was so head strong, tough, and caring, and how she loved and brought the entire family together time after time. You will be missed Lee, the legacy you leave behind is one of love and family and will never be forgotten by those that you have touched. Thank you for being such beautiful soul and thank you for showing me what it means to be such a strong hearted and loving human being. May you Rest In Peace where you will forever be in your family and friends hearts.

I have some of the best memories coming visit my vavo, from her smacking my dad for a funny joke or cracking them herself. She was always a joy to be around and I will miss her fun loving spirt. She will always be in mine and Tabatha's hearts and we will never forget her. -Nicholas & Tabatha DeMelo

My deepest condolences to all of you. It is fair to say that Lee was a very close to my mom especially since they were born the same month and year and their mothers died when they were young. They shared many great talks. May she rest in peace and perpetual light shine upon her. Love, Dina Veiga
