We have fond memories of Peggy & Tom, and honored to have been guests at their wedding! We first met them at Paulette's Dance Studio, taking shag dance lessons! We joined them in becoming charter members of the Southern New England Shag Club. We also remember Peggy, skiing at Loon Mt, and also on "walk-a-bouts" around Lincoln, NH, sometimes with her sisters. She was a gracious host, serving us home-made soup at her & Tom's N.H. condo. We have a video clip of Peggy & Tom joining us on a fall hike of "The Flume" in Franconia Notch! Tom, we send to you.... and the family, our heart-felt sympathy. We celebrate her life. She truly touched many on her journey. Rest in Peace, our Dear Friend! Fondly, Marty & Jo-Ann Crowe

Peggie and I met in the cockpit of her sailboat in the summer of 1991. We spent the next 4 months working closely together as she was my cooperating teacher as I worked to achieve teacher certification. It was also during this time that we needed each other as our lives took on different and difficult tacks. I moved 700 miles away from RI, but we remained in close contact over the years, sharing our new lives, joys and accomplishments and summer reunions in Newport. Watching our kids grow into adults, sharing grandchildren and most importantly incorporating Tom into our friendship. We often gabbed on the phone or had Brenton Cove cockpit parties. Our more recent conversations were about aging healthy and gracefully with a sense of humor. In the 40+ years of our friendship, the thought of Peggie slowing down never occurred to me. I am sure she has already run a 5K race in heaven, organized a family reunion, and read to children! As she was a plain clothes angel on earth, I'm sure she has assumed those duties in heaven. We'll know her by the tank tops and running shoes when we get there! My love goes out to the men in her life, Tom and Todd. Michelle and Chandelle, you were the daughters she was thrilled to have. To her parents, Ed and Eva, know that she loved and honored you both for the example of love and respect you modeled for her. To Ed, Jr., Judith and Jane; you were her favorite siblings but throughout her life she adopted many of us as honorary brothers and sisters and we share your grief. And to her many grandchildren, know that she treasured each one of you. She loved sharing your joys and milestones. She will be missed more than we will ever know. I speak for the entire Tysor family- We loved Peggie!

Peggie's welcoming smile and engaging personality are the memories that are in my heart. Prayers for her family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Yes, I need to share this memory with Todd, Tom and Peggy's entire family..... so you may hear just a little meaningful, yet typical kindness that Peggy Almeida Perrotto was all about. Peggy and I were classmates. This past year our class had a 70th birthday party for us all. I am now living on the coast, in North Carolina, therefore unable to attend. I received such a kind, but loving note from Peggy, with an American Flag,.....used for our party. She wanted to be sure I had one, thanking me and my deceased husband for his service. My heart immediately breaks when I think of our Peggy, who touched everyone's life. It was a blessing, Peggy I never was able to thank you enough.

  • 04/12/2022

It truly broke my heart with the passing of such a wonderful human being. Peggy was truly a miraculous person. She has done so much for so many and always with a beautiful smile on her face. Peggie and I worked together for many years. She truly was one of a kind teacher. Her dedication to her students went above and beyond every single day of her many years of teaching. If Peggy ever touched your life even for a minute, know that you have met a true angel of God. I am truly so lucky and blessed to have spent time with such a wonderful person. She will be missed by so many Margaret Alegria

Tom and family, there are no words to express the loss we all feel for the loss of such a beautiful person. As Commandant of the Veterans Home I witnessed so many times Peggy's energy and dedication to our residents through the school children that she mentored and taught for so many years. The joy she and her students brought to so many war service veterans was undeniable and beautiful. Marilyn and I could go on and on about what joy to work with her all those years. Thankyou Tom and your family for loaning her to our fellow veterans and families! We are all sure that she is now at peace and enjoying all the love heaven can bring. God Bless, Dave and Marilyn Foehr
