Marie (Souraty) Glover-Dias, 100, of Warren, RI, passed away, Thursday, June 9, 2022, at Hope Health Hospice, Providence, RI.

She was the wife of the late Carl Glover and Manuel Dias.

Born in Warren, RI, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Margaret (Corey) Souraty.

Marie had worked as a payroll supervisor for the former Converse in Bristol, RI, for many years. She enjoyed playing cards and socializing with the After Five Socialites and remained an avid reader until her death. Marie was a Boston Red Sox fan and as such hated the Damn Yankees.

She is survived by a son, James A. Glover and his wife Helen of Portsmouth, RI, three grandchildren, Erin, Matthew and Kiki, seven great grandchildren, Walter, Liam, Allison, Max, Matthew, Tori and Knox and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was also the sister of the late George Souraty, Joseph Souraty, Anna Boulos, Helen Hellew, Rose Cartin, and Elizabeth Krulikowski.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022, at 10AM in St. Mary of the Bay Church, 645 Main St., Warren.

Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Chestnut St., Bristol.
