Mary (Soares) Cairrao, 94, of Warren, RI, passed away, Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Silver Creek Manor, Bristol, RI.She was the wife of the late Valdemar "Butch" Norman Cairrao.Born in Warren, RI, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Antonia (Santos) Soares.Mrs. Cairrao had worked as a teachers aide for the Warren and Bristol School Department for many years, retiring in 1990. She was a Communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Warren. She enjoyed dancing, reading and going on cruises.She is survived by a daughter, Linda Lynker, of Warren, RI, nine step-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late, Steve Soares and Alfred Soares, and mother in law of the late John P.
