Oresto "Russ" Joseph Conti Jr., 60, of Barrington and Huntersville, NC, passed away Wednesday March 6, 2013 at the Levine & Dickson Hospice House. Russ was born in Providence to Rena (Bellanger) Conti and the late Oresto Joseph Conti. He was a structural engineer with General Dynamics, a member of the West Barrington Mens Club in Rhode Island and was an avid golfer.

Along with his mother, Russ is survived by his loving wife Carol (Buckless) Conti; daughter, Wendy Gherardi (Vincent) of Huntersville, NC; son, Paul Russell Conti of Rhode Island; grandson, Nicholas Gherardi; brothers, Richard Conti and Dino Conti of Rhode Island; sister, Angela Sutherland of California.

Memorial Services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday April 6, 2013 in the Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren RI. Immediately following the service there will be a gathering at the home of Richard Conti, 3 Pine Haven Dr., Wyoming, RI 02898.
