Bristol Robert E. Moreau, 90 of Bristol, RI, died Sunday January 14, 2018.

He was the husband of the late Mary Angela (Cantanucci) Moreau.

Mr. Moreau was born in Fall River, Massachusetts, a son of the late Louis P. and Jennie (DeLong) Moreau.

Robert was a Fireman for the Troy Fire Department, Troy N.Y. for over 26 years before retiring. He was a US Navy Veteran serving as a Seaman First Class, during WWII.

Mr. Moreau has been a Bristol, RI, resident since 1996, coming from New York, he was a parishioner of St. Marys Church.

Robert was a member of the Local 2304 Firefighters Union. He was a carpenter for Arbitts Floor Covering in Troy, NY, for over 30 years. He was also a member of the Saratoga Rod and Gun Club for over 20 years.

He is survived by his children Denise Anne Sullenger of Bristol, RI, Robert E. and his wife Lynda (Jeffalone) Moreau , Jr., of Latham NY, and Robin and her husband John Constancia of Bristol, RI.

Mr. Moreau was the loving grandfather of Brian Zachary Houston of Boston , MA,, Tyler Patrick Houston, and Kristina Marshall of Bristol, RI, Robert E. Moreau , III, and Shane M. Moreau, both of Mechanicville New York.

Robert was the brother of the late Louis Moreau.

After cremation, burial with Military Honors will be held Friday January 26, 2018 at 1:00pm in the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery , 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, New York.
