Robert Dummer, 80, of Barrington, Rhode Island, passed away December 6, 2022 after a short illness. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth, and Lloyd Shreve. Born in Providence, Robert moved with his family to Barrington as a young child. Robert split his time between Barrington and Maine, where he spent his summers working at the family campground. For over 60 years he tended the grounds and greeted generations of vacationing families every summer. Known for his dry humor and unique personality, Robert was a beloved member of the campground and extended family.Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd.
