Obituary For Theresa E Braun

Warren - Theresa Terry Braun, 68, of Warren, passed away at home on Saturday, May 19, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Terry was a graduate of Warren High School.

She dedicated her life to being an advocate for adults with special needs. Her expansive career included positions at the Blackstone Valley ARC and the ARC of Northern Bristol County.

Terry was an active member of the community. She was the former President of the Warren Little League and served on the Warren School Committee. She was a passionate Boston Red Sox fan, had a love of cooking, traveling, and entertaining. Her children will always hold dear the wonderful memories of the many family vacations with her over the years. Her friends will remember her for her great parties and enduring friendship.

Terry was the daughter of the late Antoine and Bertha (Mikulski) Boulanger. She is survived by Robert Bob Braun, her devoted husband of fifty years.

She also leaves behind three sons; Jason, and his wife Julie, Seth and his wife Diane, and Matthew, and his wife Kristen. She was grandmother Mia to Kelsey, Jameson, Madelyn and Nolan, as well as, step grandmother to Lucas and Landry Thompson. Terry was the youngest child in a family of nine children and was predeceased by six of her siblings the late Edward Boulanger, Roland Ace Boulanger, Antoine Boulanger Jr., Richard Boulanger, Esther Thivierge, and Florence DaCosta .

She is survived by her sisters, Bertha Pare and Corrine Guimond, as well as many nieces, nephews and beloved friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to her calling hours on Wednesday May 23, 2018 from 4-7pm in the SMITH FUNERAL and MEMORIAL SERVICES, 8 Schoolhouse Road , Warren . A private funeral service will follow.

    I am truly sorry for the loss and pain that Bob and family are feeling because of losing Theresa recently in death, way too soon. Most of us have had to endure the sorrow of losing a loved one in death. What helped me the most was prayer and faith in Godâ??s promises found here at 1 Corinthians 15:26 where it tells us: â??And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.â?? Godâ??s kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matthew 6:9,10 will bring about these wonderful promises, including the resurrection. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection. (John 5:28, John 6:40, John11:23-25) Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. Again, the family is in my prayers and I offer my heartfelt condolences.

    My sincere condolences to the Braun and Pare families. Terry was one of a kind. Her quick wit and a keen sense of humor kept us all in check. She was very protective and proud of her family and loved ones. I will miss her laughter.... Rest in Peace Terry.

    To Bob and all of your family, sending prayers, love and sympathy! Memories of Terry from school days some 50 yrs ago, than travel to the Navy YMCA days where we both met the love of lives. I share your wedding day, she also open your home for my family to meet yours. Our lives got busyand we moved away. We reconnected on fb which was nice to see her the joys in her life which was all of her family! Your hearts will missed her but also your hearts will be filled with all the loving and fun memories she gave to all of you. One of my treasure memories was I ride with her in a old car that the radio or heat didnâ??t work but Terry as always made something fun! She would sing and one of her favorites was â??Going to take a sentimental journeyâ?? now she is on her final but beautiful sentimental journey in Godâ??s loving arms...she is in peace but her life has touch all of us on her journey have been blessed!
