So sorry to hear about Walter's passing. He was a good friend for many years. We used to go together to Brimfield every year and hunt for postcards. He had a great thirst for knowledge and was a wonderful researcher. He will be missed

I hope your family will find comfort in Jesus' words:â?? Do not marvel at this, the hour is coming when all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out."(John 5:28,29) So for a little while, your love one will have to sleep in death, before they are awaken from the pangs of death.-John 11:11-44. May God continue to comfort and bless your family.-Isaiah 66:13.

Walter was one of a kind and an inspiration to me. In the historic preservation world that was and is run by well off Ivy League grads, Walter was down to earth, outspoken, and eminently human. He loved his family and children, loved Warren, and loved contributing to the state of Rhode Island. I loved visiting Walter and Dorothy, and only wish he could see me now and hear of my adventures, all inspired by his own. And I miss him.
