Obituary For WENDY L STEPHENSON

Wendy McMahan-Stephenson entered into rest July, 1 2019 in her home in Fall River, MA.

Wendy was born in Ashville, NC a daughter of Shelby McMahan and Bernice Costa. Besides her parents, Wendy is survived by her daughter Jocelyn McMahan of Warren; brothers Glenn McMahan of Fall River and Roy McMahan and his wife Mary Skac of Warren; sisters Shelly Toolin and her husband Jim Toolin of Fall River and Susan Snoeck and her husband Ed Snoeck of North Carolina, and many nieces and nephews.

Ms. Stephenson was also the mother of the late Dustyn McMahan of Tiverton.

In her younger years Wendy attended school at Colt Andrews. She had a real passion for helping people and later went on to earn her CNA. She enjoyed working as a cna for as long as she could.

Wendy also had a passion for animals and enjoyed spending time with her cats, Micha and Seafair that she adopted as kittens. She was an avid shopper and enjoyed going any chance she could get. She loved her family and enjoyed spending her free time babysitting or just being in the company of her family. She enjoyed cooking and often cooked large meals for her family to enjoy. She was very smart and was often the one family called upon to help set up their electronics.

Wendy will be deeply missed by friends and family.

Arrangements are with Familys Choice Cremation. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation, Wednesday, July 10, 2019, 5-8:00pm at Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, RI.
