Obituary For Aaron Michael Franco

Aaron M. Franco, 24, of Bristol, died unexpectedly in Springfield Ma., while attending a trade show for the family business, J.J. Bidden Cordage, on Saturday Jan. 23, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in Holyoke. He was born in Providence, R.I., a son of Domenic and Linda (Johnson) Franco Jr. of Bristol.

Aaron was employed at Advanced Marketing Solutions, as a Title Researcher in Warren, and he also worked with his dad at J.J. Bidden Cordage of Bristol.

He was a lifelong Bristol resident, who attended both Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, and St. Elizabeth Church in Bristol, and also played baseball for the King Phillip Little league, and played football at Mt. Hope High School, in grade school he was presented with the Presidential Honor Award. He loved sports and football, his favorite team which he was devoted to was the Dallas Cowboys.

Aaron enjoyed making people laugh and smile, his favorite imitation was quoting the Rock from WWF Wrestling Do you smell what the Rock is cooking. He loved everyone, his family and friends and especially his dog Black Jack.

When I must leave you for a little while --- please do not grieve and shed wild tears and hug your sorrow to you through the years, but start out bravely with a gallant smile, and for my sake, and in my name live on and do all things the same. Feed not your loneliness on empty days, but fill each waking hour in useful ways, reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer and I, in turn, will comfort you and hold you near. And never, never be afraid to die, for I am waiting for you in the sky.

Besides his parents he is survived by his paternal grandparents Domenic S. and Patricia ( Amaral) Franco of Bristol, a brother Tyler M. Franco of Bristol, his aunts Lori Franco of Bristol, James and Tamy Karnes of Warren, Celeste Pacheco and her husband David of Bristol, his uncles Scott Franco and his wife Sara of Cranston, Richard Johnson of Bristol, and several cousins. He was the grandson of the late William and Lorraine ( Santos) Park. A mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday January 29, 2016 at 11:00am in St. Elizabeth Church, 577 Wood St. Bristol RI. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours and flowers are omitted . Burial will be private. Arrangements by the Smith Funeral and Memorial Services .

I know the pain of losing someone in death. Aaron was still young and had so much more to accomplish. He will not be forgotten for he is alive in God's memory (Luke 20:38) All those in his memory will some day hear his voice and will enjoy life again. Hold on to that hope and may it comfort you.
