Obituary For Agnes Dorothy Marshall

Agnes Dorothy (Alves) Marshall, 91, a life-long resident of Bristol, RI, died, Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at the home of her daughter in Warren, RI.

She was the wife of the late Joseph Marshall.

Born in Bristol, RI, she was the daughter of the late Steven and Emma (Cabral) Alves.

Mrs. Marshall was a member of His Providence Church in Swansea, MA. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren at their sporting events. In her youth she was an avid volunteer with youth sports.

She is survived by four sons, Joseph Marshall and his partner Jean of Riverside, RI, Steven Marshall and his wife June of Riverside, RI, Bruce Marshall and his wife Brenda of Bristol, RI, and Wayne Marshall and his wife Donna of Bristol, RI, a daughter Emma Kaiser and her husband Kenneth of Warren, RI, one sister Elsie Cabral of Bristol, RI, ten grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.

She was the sister of the late Manuel Alves, Anthony Alves, William Alves, John Alves, Mary Coelho, Tina Paiva, Elizabeth Silvia, Margaret McKenzie, Phoebe Mello, and Emily Silvia.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at 10AM in His Providence Church, 262 Swansea Mall Drive, Swansea, MA.

Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Warren Fire Department, 1 Joyce Street, Warren, RI 02885.

Arrangements are by Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, RI.

    Dear Marshall & Kaiser Families, Please accept our sincere condolences in the loss of your mom, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister and friend to many. Heaven has gained another angel. She is wrapped in the arms of our Heavenly Father. We pray for comfort for all of you. She will be missed by her Dunkin Donut friends. Sending love and hugs to all.

    so sorry to hear of your mother's passing, she was a sweet woman who loved her family! My deepest sympathies. She was a great neighbor, when we lived on Rosedale drive and we had the best times Christmas caroling with all of you. Betty Budde (Raposa)
