My uncle, my godfather. He brought my mom to the hospital when she went into labor. He rode the Demon roller coaster at Great America with me, as well as the Sky Glider in Santa Cruz. He let me live in his house for 2 years when I first moved to California. He even went to the DMV with me for my drivers test! I thought he looked like Rhett Butler and I loved the smell of the Polo cologne he'd splash on before leaving for work in his suit and tie. So many silly little memories. I will never forget his love and kindness towards me.

On behalf of my parents, brother and myself Uncle Al will be greatly missed. He was my Father's closest brother and our favorite Uncle. Growing up, he lived with us for several months when he was transferred to work at the local VA hospital. Through the years he was always laughing and always made us laugh and smile. I remember how he notoriously would find a parking spot close to any entrance, every time. Many wonderful memories. We will all miss him greatly.
