ALBERT JOSEPH DESMARAIS, 85, formerly of Constitution Street, died Monday April 14, 2003 at the Desilets Nursing Home, Warren.

Born in Bristol, a son of the late George and Rose (Lemire) Desmarais, he had been a lifelong Bristol resident until moving to Warren four years ago.

Mr. Desmarais had been a factory worker for the former Priscilla Sportswear of Bristol for 35 yeras before retiring in 1983.

He was a communicant of St. Mary Church, Bristol.

He leaves two brothers, Anthony and Gilbert Desmarais, both of Bristol; three sisters, Odille Brule and Rita Laroche, both of Warren, and Madeline Scola of Bristol; and many nieces and nephews. He was a brother of the late Lucy Bettencourt, Frederick Desmarais and Rosanna Squire.

The funeral will be Thursday at 9 a.m. from the William J. Smith & Son Funeral Home, 15 Church St., Warren, with a Funeral Liturgy Outside of Mass in St. Mary Church, Wood Street, Bristol.
