Obituary For Albert Edward Dziedzic

Albert Edward Dziedzic Sr, 91 of Barrington, died Monday, January 25th, at St Elizabeth Manor. Born in Barrington a son of the late Joseph and Regina (Modliszwski) Dziedzic. Beloved husband of Josephine (Olszowy)Dziedzic. Mr. Dziedzic was a Captain on the Barrington Fire Department where he worked for 31 years retiring in 1983. He was a former President and member of the RI Firefighters Instructors Association. He was a WWII Army Veteran who served in the European Theater. He was a communicant of the former St Casimirs Church. Loving father of Albert E. Jr., (Susan), Joseph I. Sr. (Karen), John T. (Brenda), Paul F. Sr. (Donna), Peter E., Thomas M., Michael D., Mary E. Stevenson. He was the grandfather of 12 and great grandfather of seven. He leaves a sister, Marion Silvia of East Providence. He also was the brother of the late Benjamin, Frank and Ludwisha Dziedzic; Helen Brule and Rose Darowski. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services 8 Schoolhouse Rd. Warren RI, where family will receive friends, Friday, January 29th 4-8pm. Funeral will be held Saturday, January 30th, 10am at the Carmelite Monastery. Burial with full military honors will be in St Mary of the Bay Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Carmelite Monastery, 25 Watson Avenue, Barrington, RI 02806.

    To the family I was sorry to hear of your loss. Death is difficult to endure regardless of the age, however we can find comfort from God's word the Bible. It tells us that soon all those in the memorial tomb will come out by means of a resurrection.(John 5:28, 29) Please lean on the God of all Comfort to help you during this time.
