Obituary For Aldina DaSilva

DaSilva, Aldina (Canario), 81, died Wednesday at St Elizabeths Manor. She was the wife of the late Antonio DaSilva. She had worked for Davol Rubber Company for many years. Beloved mother of Antonio DaSilva and wife Tara of Warren, Beverly Iovini and husband Joseph of Bristol and the late Helena DaSilva. Loving sister of Joshua Canario of Warren, Manny Canario of Barrington and the late Germana Neves. Grandmother of Amanda Iovini. Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd, Warren where family will receive friends, Sunday 3-6pm. Funeral Monday 10am from the funeral home, 11am in St Thomas the Apostle Church, 500 Metacom Ave, Warren.     Nana: When I look up at the sky at night, I do not see stars but see small openings in heaven where your love pours through and shines down upon all of us to let us know you are happy. Thank you for showing my mom how to be a great cook and the best mom as you were to her and I will look after her and will always be looking at the bright holes in the sky at night.     To Tony, Beverly, and Tara, My condolences to all of you. I knew Aldina briefly and in that small time I felt the love she had for her children. The stories she shared with me were heart warming and also funny. I have to say that she touched my heart in that small amount of time. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.
