Obituary For Alexander W. Mikulski

Alexander W. Mikulski, 97,of Warren, died January 6 at Grace Barker Nursing Center. He was the husband of the late Bertha (Siembab) Mikulski. Born in Fall River, a son of the late Antoni and Johannah (Kendrik) Mikulski. Alexander served in WWII in the Navy serving from April 1943 to January 1946. He was a Police Officer for the Town of Warren retiring at the age of 55, he was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, Warren Volunteer Fire Dept., Rough & Ready Engine 5, Cup Defenders of Bristol and the Portuguese American Club in Warren. He was a lifelong parishioner of St Casimirs Church and member of its St Josephs Society. He was the father of Phyllis Salamon (her husband John) of Warren and Walter Mikulski of Barrington. Grandfather of Jennifer Morin and Leanne Arsenault. Great grandfather of Caitlyn and Melody Morin and Leo and Myles Arsenault. Brother of Frances Drzal of Warren. Brother of the late Chester and Robert Mikulski, Bertha Boulanger, Rose Nelligan, Elenor Bouchard and Jane Stocklinski. Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, where family will receive friends, Friday, January 11th, 9-10am, followed by a Service at 10am in the funeral home. Burial in St Mary of the Bay Cemetery, Warren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Warren Rescue Squad, 1 Joyce St., Warren, RI 02885

    We were so sorry to hear that Sarge had passed away. He was such a nice man and we always looked forward to seeing him when we came to Warren. We will certainly miss him.
