Obituary For Alfred Aparicio

Alfred (Fred) Aparicio, 92, of Bristol, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021. Born in East Providence, he was the son of the late Aniceto and Edith (Ferreira) Aparicio and the husband of the late Nancy Sisson (Hunter) Aparicio who passed away in May of this year. He missed her terribly. Fred worked for B A Ballou in East Providence as a toolmaker for 48 years before retiring. During retirement he worked at Crimson and Clover, where he made lasting friendships. Fred was also a very active communicant of Saint Thomas the Apostle Church, where he served as a trustee for many years. Fred is survived by his sons, Paul Aparicio and his companion Nelly Silva of Fall River and Fredrick Aparicio and his wife Laurie of Riverside; his daughter, Lisa Whiting and her husband Kevin of Bristol; his sister Marlene Carreira of Bristol; six grandchildren, Adam and Erin Aparicio, Hunter and Devon Aparicio and Matthew and Kayla Whiting, and his great-grandson Liam Barrett. He was the brother of the late John Aparicio and Dorothy Perkins. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 500 Metacom Ave. Warren.     I worked with Al at crimson and clover many years ago. He was a kind and gentle man with a wonderful sense of humor. He always had a positive outlook and a warm smile for everyone. Rest in God's arms Al.
