Obituary For Andrew G. Gibree
Andrew G. Gibree, 64 of Bristol passed on December 15, 2015 at Rhode Island Hospital.
He was born in Providence, RI a son of George Andrew Gibree and Josephine Lucia (Murgo) Gibree.
He worked at St. Gobain Plastics for 31 years. Following his retirement he volunteered his time at Bristol Animal Shelter.
Andrew treasured both his 1957 & 1981 Corvettes. He was also a fan of the New York Yankees and New York Giants. But his most valued and greatest joy were his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Dyanne (Harnois) Gibree, son Eric A. Gibree and wife Susan of Johnston, and his daughters Sara Hisey of Bristol and Kelsey Gibree of Riverside. He is also remembered by his sisters Caroline (Gibree) Tremblay of Warren and Lucille (Gibree) Palmieri of Bristol. Andrew also leaves his six grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held Saturday, December 19, 2015 from 9am-11am at Smith Funeral & Memorial with funeral services from 11am-12pm.
Burial will follow funeral services at North Burial Ground Cemetery in Bristol, Rhode Island.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to The Bristol Animal Shelter. 395 Metacom Avenue, Bristol, RI 02809.
