Angelina (Marreira) Votaw, 86, of Hope, RI, passed away, Monday, November 22, 2021, at home. She was the wife of the late Harrod B. Votaw. Born in Bristol, RI, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary (Barboza) Marreira. She is survived by a daughter Dora L. Owen and her husband Albert M. Owen of Wilmington, NC, a sister Betty Ann Wallace of Warren, RI, three grandchildren, John Paul Votaw, Kristin Elise Alegria, and Sean Michael Alegria, and four great grandchildren, Joshua Oliveira, Adriana Botelho, Austin Alegria, and Arielle Serpa. She was also the mother of the late Susan Ann Tommela and Christine Carvalho, and grandmother of the late Jeffrey Carvalho and Dawn Marie Votaw. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at 11:00 AM in St. Mary of the Bay Church, 645 Main Street, Warren.
