Obituary For Angelo Anthony Mascena

Mascena, Angelo Anthony, 96, of Bristol, Rhode Island was born on November 18, 1919. On Tuesday, July 19, 2016, the good Lord called him home. He was a loving husband, father, great-grandfather.

Angelo, also known as Mascy to friends, was predeceased by his three wives Rose Mary, Madeline, and Laurie, his daughter Sandra, and his grandson Matthew. He is survived by his children Rose Marie Dyer, Patricia and Richard Kingsbury, Anthony and JoAnne Mascena, TerryLyn Mascena and her partner, Michael Moen, Connie and Scott Taylor, and Veronica Mascena. He was lovingly known as Grandad by his eighteen grandchildren, and known as Grandpa by his nineteen great-grandchildren. he is also the brother of Carmela Turcotte Andrews of Warren.

After more than 20 years, Angleo retired from the Singer Sewing Machine Company as a District Supervisor and had his own sewing machine repair company.

Angelo was a WWII Army veteran.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Bristol Veterans Home for the care he received. A memorial service will be on August 1, 2016 at 10:00 AM in Smith Funeral Home , 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Chestnut St. Bristol. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, a contribution be made to a charity of your choice.

    My very dear brother who will always have a special place in my heart-he loved life -he loved people especially his family and many friends.he did struggle with his memory but that was after many years of enjoying life and his favorite words to me were,"I have no complaints--I had a good life"he is back home in Bristol!Gods little piece of heaven where his first born,Sandra devoted so much time to her dad and now they are together again
