Obituary For AnneMarie Guimond

Tiverton -- AnneMarie ( Orefice) Guimond, 70 of Tiverton, died Monday July 3, 2017 at the Berkshire Place Nursing Home, in Providence.

She was the wife of Gilbert " Gibby" Guimond, they were married for over 51 years.

AnneMarie was born in Providence a daughter of the late Antonio and Gloria (Assante) Orefice.

She was a graduate of Rhode Island College, with a Master's Degree in Social Work .

AnneMarie was a social worker for the Kent County Mental Health, for many years.

Mrs. Guimond has lived in Tiverton for over 50 years coming from Bristol.

She was a former member of St. Madeline's Church, was a member of the Tiverton Women's Club, and was a foster parent many years ago.

Mrs. Guimind , was active in helping the families and survivors of the Station Nightclub fire, providing therapy for them.

Besides her husband she is survived by her daughters Tammy Guimond of Tiverton, and Jenni Llaguno of Charlestown RI, her brothers Roger Orefice of Milford Ma., Anthony Orefice of Warren.

She was the grandmother of Ella Guimond, Andre Llaguno, and Mateo Llaguno.

AnneMarie was the sister of the late Peter Orefice.
