Anthony F. Mello, 92, a lifelong resident of Warren, died Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Warren Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation. He was the son of Jose and Rosaline (Moniz) de Mello. He was the husband of the late Bernice (Pysz) Mello. Mr Mello was a 47 year member of the Warren Fire Department, volunteering for both the Central Fire Company, Engine 1 and the Rescue Squad. He was a WWII Army Veteran and a communicant of St Thomas the Apostle Church. Mr Mello leaves his friend Suzanne Quinn of Warren; a daughter Barbara A. Morrow; granddaughters, Jennifer Morrow and Melissa Harper; twin great grandchildren Skylar and Clayton Harper. Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren. The funeral service will be held there on Saturday, November 23rd, at 10:00 am, followed by burial in St Mary of the Bay, Warren.
