Obituary For Antone Frank Amaral

Antone F. PeeWee Amaral Jr, 87, of Warren, died Saturday, June 18,2016 at Grace Barker Nursing Home.

He was the husband of the late Antoinette ( Palumbo) Amaral.

PeeWee, was born in Warren a son of the late Antone F. and Emily (Fagunda) Amaral Sr.

Mr. Amaral was the owner / operator of the former Bristol Texaco Service Station, for many years.

A lifelong Warren resident, he was a parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle Church. PeeWee was a United States Air Force Veteran.

He was an honorary member of the Rough and Ready Fire Company , and was an active member from 1961 through 1977, he was the past president and life member of the East Warren Rod and Gun Club.

A champion skeet shooter, he had won many titles and was a member of the National Skeet Shooting Association.

PeeWee was an Eagle Scout, and avid outdoorsman he enjoyed camping, and hunting and fishing.

In his younger years he raced at Seekonk Speedway under the name of California Kid. PeeWee is survived by his son John Amaral of Barrington, his daughters, Donna Amaral and her husband Mike Smith of Warren, Janet Amaral of Eastham Ma, and Pawtucket, RI., and Linda Parrillo of Warren.

He was the grandfather of Katey Amaral of Bristol, Tommy Amaral of Bristol, Alissa Parrillo, and Colleen Parrillo.

Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late John Amaral, Frank Amaral, Cecilia Pacheco, Evelyn Poutre, and Emily Chambers.

Funeral services are private.

Gifts in his memory may be sent to the Rough and Ready Fire Company, 342 Metacom Avenue, Warren ,R.I. 02885, Attn: Captain Scott Little.

    Though I know that this is a difficult time for you, my hope is that you will be comforted from God's inspired word the Bible. John 5:28,29 and Revelation 21: 3,4 gives hope of a future resurrection and the complete elimination of death, pain and mourning. Under Jesus' kingdom rule we have this and much more to look forward to. Please accept my deepest condolences.

    Dear John, Donna and family, I am so very sorry to learn of your dad's passing so late. My mom saw him at Grace Barker last spring =, and I vowed to get there soon after. Unfortunately, he passed away before I made the effort. I am sorry for that but want you to know how wonderful he was as a coworker in our office. My dad so enjoyed him, too. My mom talks about the years he had the Texaco station, and I think I have bowls from there still! Our sincerest condolences. Francine, Mrs Sousa and family
