Obituary For Arthur J. Lambert

Arthur Joseph Lambert, 81, of Warren, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. He was the high school sweetheart and devoted husband of Sally J. (Bartosewitz) Lambert, with whom he shared 59 wonderful years of marriage.

Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Charles and Mary (Viveiros) Lambert. He was predeceased by his siblings, Anne Faria and William Lambert.

Arthur was a member of the Warren High School Class of 1963. He proudly played basketball for the CYO. Following graduation, he honorably served his country in the United States Army from 1963 to 1969.

Following his military service, Arthur built a successful career in the construction industry. As the owner of Crosstown Builders of Rhode Island, he took great pride in building custom homes throughout the area. He was known for his strong work ethic, attention to detail, and his commitment to quality craftsmanship.

One of Arthur’s greatest accomplishments was the development of Lambert Lane, a lasting testament to his vision, hard work, and dedication. It stands as a legacy which began by Sally’s parents purchasing the land in 1955. It will endure for generations, reflecting the pride he took in building not only homes, but also a neighborhood.

Arthur had a passion for travel and created countless cherished memories exploring with his family. His adventures included numerous cruises, trips to Alaska, Hawaii, California, the Grand Canyon, and the Caribbean.

Of all the places he visited, however, Disney World held a special place in his heart. Over the years, he made an incredible 39 trips there, where the magic, joy, and time spent with those he loved brought him his greatest happiness.

Arthur also fulfilled a lifelong dream when he purchased his 2003 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic Motorcycle which was custom made for him.

Above all else, Arthur cherished the time he spent with Sally and the family they built together. He was a constant presence at his grandchildren’s sporting events, where he could always cheer them on with pride.

He enjoyed scenic drives through Colt State Park with Sally. He also was a loyal fan of the Boston Red Sox, the New England Patriots and Providence College Basketball.

In addition to his beloved wife, Sally, Arthur is survived by his daughters, Kerri A. Tweedy and Tracy L. Gale and her husband, Jason; his cherished grandchildren, Jared Tweedy, Taylor Beauvais, Joshua Gale, Matthew Gale, and Sarah Gale; as well as many extended relatives and dear friends who will miss him greatly.
