Aurore D. Lapre, 92, of Warren, RI passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Saturday, December 2, 2023.

Wife of Roland L. Lapre, Sr. for over 72 years. Born in Warren, RI, she was the daughter of the late Aurare (Pelchat) Trudel and Omer Trudel. She was the mother of Roland Lapre and wife Nancy of Westerly, RI, David Lapre and his wife Josephine of Warren, RI, Nancy Rego and her husband Jay of Warren, RI; Grandchildren Justin, Brandon and Ryan Lapre, Christopher and Stephanie Lapre and John, Eliza and Aimee Rego. Great-grandmother of 4; Sister of the late Luella Plesniak and Madeleine Fiddler.

Aurore worked for the telephone company for over 40 years starting as a telephone operator and ending as a technician. After retiring she loved traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.

Services are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd. Warren, RI where the family will receive relatives and guests for Visitation on Saturday, December 9, 2023, from 9 -10:30 AM followed by an 11AM Mass of Chrisitan Burial in St. Mary of The Bay Parish, 645 Main St. Warren, RI 02885. Burial private.
