Obituary For Barbara Griffith
Barbara Griffith, 87, of Warren, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2024, at St. Anne’s Hospital.
Raised in Warren, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Gertrude (Gray) Griffith.
Barbara worked as a schoolteacher at Melville Elementary School in Portsmouth, RI for over 30 years.
In the summertime, she liked going to the beach and seeing foliage in the fall.
She’ll be remembered for enjoying the little things and having a kind heart.
She is survived by her niece Laura and her husband Bill Paolucci; great nephew Joel Paolucci; great nieces Nicky Mello and Candy Lima. She also leaves behind her caretaker Lori Rioux who was like a daughter to her and best friend Alice Graham for over 60 years.
Services are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd. Warren, RI 02885, where the family will receive relatives and guests for Visitation on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, from 8:30AM – 10:00AM with a Funeral Home service at 10AM. Burial to follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Vernon St., Warren, RI 02885
