Beatriz P. Darosa, 93, of Bristol, RI, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 23, 2025. A daughter of the late Jose and Gilhermina (Paz) Terra and the beloved wife of the late Augusto Darosa, Beatriz grew up in Terceira, Azores before moving to the United States. She then moved out to California where she met her late husband, Augusto, and returned to Bristol after his passing.

Beatriz was a happy, fun-loving person who enjoyed going to parties, dancing and enjoying the yearly feasts. She loved cooking and enjoyed making food for her friends and family. She loved tending to her flower garden watching the bullfights when she could.

Beatriz is survived by her sister, Maria Fartura of Terceira, Azores and was loved by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was the sister of the late Jose Terra, Joao Terra, Lionel Terra, Francisco Terra, Maria G. Sousa, Margarida Maduro and Maria Terra Martins,

Services are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd. Warren, RI 02885 where the family will receive relatives and guests for Visitation on Friday, March 28, 2025 from 9 – 10:30AM followed immediately by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM in St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, 500 Metacom Rd. Warren, RI 02885. Burial will be St. Mary of the Bay Cemetery, Vernon St. Warren, RI 02885.
