Obituary For Benjamin Congio

BENJAMIN R. CONGIO, 86, of Silver Creek Manor, Bristol, formerly of Grand Army Highway, Swansea, died Wednesday October 15, 2003 at Silver Creek Manor, Bristol.

He was the husband of Beatrice (LeComte) Congio. Born in South Boston, MA, a son of the late Daniel and Marie (Digiulio) Congio, he spent most of his life as a resident of Swansea, having also lived in North Providence.

He was a machinist for the R. C. Lewis Company of Providence for over 27 years before retiring in 1979.

He was a communicant of St DominicÂ?s Church, Swansea. He served in the Army during WWII as a Medical Technician for the 422nd Medical Collecting Company having served in the European and American Theaters. He enjoyed working in his yard.

Loving brother to Gloria Lucciola and Lena Zamambarano both of North Providence. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. He was a brother to the late John and Joseph Congio, Angelia Ricci and Jennie Schenck.

Burial will be in Notre Dame in Fall River, MA.
