Bertha A. White, 98, of Coventry, CT, passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at her home. A daughter of the late Paul and Katherine (Golin) Cyganowski and the wife of the late Felix Mikulski and, later, the late Frederick S. White, Bertha spent some of her earlier years in Warren before moving to Connecticut when she married.

Bertha worked for Travelers Insurance for many years and really loved her work. She was definitely a people person and enjoyed being social anywhere she went. Bertha was always a girly-girl and loved get all dolled up any time she was out and about. She was always a Glam-Girl and was always looking her best. She really enjoyed eating Chinese food and often would go out with her dear friend, Dennis. Bertha was always a joy to be around, had a great sense of humor and was always able to make people laugh. She was very spunky and always spoke her truth. Bertha also enjoyed entertaining guests and having people at the house.

Bertha is survived by several nieces and nephews, both in Poland and in the United States; and her dear friend, Dennis McLaughlin of Kensington, CT. She was the youngest of 9 children and was the sister of the late Frank Cyganowski, John Cyganowski, Lena Santos, Mary LaValle, Sophie Medeiros, Caroline Hunt, Stella Barry and Julia Kozicki.

Services are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd. Warren, RI 02885. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at 10AM in St. Mary of the Bay Parish, 645 Main St. Warren, RI 02885. Burial will be at South Burial Ground, Sowamset Ave. Warren, RI 02885.
