Obituary For Betty Romano

Bristol -- Betty Romano,95, formerly of Tiverton, RI, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family ,on Tuesday October 10, 2017 at St. Elizabeth's Manor in Bristol, RI.

Born and raised in Brooklyn , New York, She was the beloved wife of the late Louis Romano, and is survived by her loving daughters Pamela Romano of Bristol, RI, and Valerie Romano - Osborne, along with her three grandchildren Elizabeth, Christine, and Daniel Osborne , all of Hanover, Ma.

She was an active parishioner of Holy Ghost Parish in Tiverton, RI, serving as the President of the Woman's Guild and a member of many other committees.

Betty dedicated her life to her children and her large extended family and friends. She cherished each day , giving all her love throughout her life.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday , October 14, 2017 at 9:00am form the SMITH FUNERAL and MEMORIAL SERVICES, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, RI, followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Mary's Church, 330 Wood Street, Bristol, RI. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are Friday October 13, 2017 from 4-8pm.
