Obituary For Bruce Alan Novak

Bruce Alan Novak 64, died on May 5, 2017 unexpectedly at his home in Coventry, RI. He was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island and was the husband of Donna Novak for 40 years.

He was the son of the late Irene (Hamel) Novak and Stanley Novak.

Besides his wife he leaves his brother Richard Novak of Lincoln, RI and his wife Diane; and his sister-in- law Kathleen Attanasio. He also leaves his nieces Alyssa Novak and her husband Chris Mercer; Cheryl Novak and her husband Chronis Griveas and Keri Hart and her husband David. He leaves five great nieces and nephews.

Bruce was a graduate of Rhode Island College. Prior to becoming disabled in 2006, Bruce worked for many years in the food service/restaurant supply industry and was employed at All American Foods in North Kingstown, Rhode Island and Callahan Sales in Taunton, Massachusetts. Bruce was an avid reader who enjoyed beautifully written books, and he loved all musicâ?¦especially the Beatles, Rolling Stones, and gems of the late 60s and early 70s. He appreciated the beauty of a drive by the beach. He found pleasure in having a great meal with a good wine, watching falling snow or simply listening to the rain. Sometimes its the simplest things was an expression he often said. He had a great sense of humor, loved to tell a story and was a part of many stories held dear by his family and friends. A celebration of these stories and Bruces life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers contributions in his honor may be made to Kent County Hospital, Wound Recovery Center, Warwick, RI
