To the Correia & Jiacovelli Families, A very special man and friend left us yesterday. Bruce always made us laugh and we loved being in his company. We were greatful to have spent a great lunch date with him and also a cookout in June. He was a very brave man and was there to help anyone who needed it. He will be sadly missed. RIP Bruce and have eternal rest. Billy & Maryann Witt

Dear Fran and Nancy and family, I am so sorry to hear of Bruce's passing. I have many memories of Bruce as our neighbor and also a great guy. He even came to my recuse one time as a State Policeman once when my car died on Rt 146. I was with a cousin and it was getting dark when my car died. A guy stopped to help us then said if the police come tell them you know me.. Red flags. Who drives up but Bruce. I was thrilled it was Bruce and I could introduce him to the guy as a friend.. He got the biggest hug from me...RIP Bruce and say hi to your Dad for me

Long before I met his sister Nancy I knew Bruce as a RI State Trooper. He frequented the same Tommy's Diner I did in Middletown. Not only could he fit in anywhere, he was a kind and gentle person, willing to help anyone. Years later I was able to reconnect through Nancy. I will miss him but I know that he will be in heaven with his Dad, I think he missed him most of all. My heartfelt feelings and love to his Mom Fran, my sweet friend, and every one of you in his family. I feel privileged to have known this gracious man with a beautiful smile we called Bruce. My family's thoughts are with you during this sad time. I will miss seeing Bruce's smiling face and my twins have happy memories of Bruce throwing candy off his deck in Burrillville to all the kids! He brought a smile to everyone's face on Patriot's Football Day! Remember the good times! From the Winsor & Conway Family
