Obituary For Carol A. Violett
Carol A. Violett, 79, of Warren, RI, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025 with her family by her side. A daughter of the late Lillian E (Cloutier) and Walter W. Jamrog Jr. Carol was a lifelong resident of Warren.
Carol started her career as a teller at Industrial National bank in Warren after graduating from Warren High School. She later transferred to a new branch that was built in Barrington which later became Fleet Bank and eventually acquired by Bank of America. She was promoted to operations supervisor in Barrington. Carol retired after 47 years of dedicated service.
Carol was very involved with St. Jean the Baptiste Parish and a member of the Ladies’ Club. After the closure of St. Jean’s Parish and movement of the congregation she became a communicant of St. Mary of the Bay Parish and remained a very active member.
Carol was an avid Bingo player, enjoyed playing slot machines and high stakes Bingo at Foxwoods. She was a regular at St. Mary of the Bay Bingo until it closed. She enjoyed driving her late mother to the local greyhound parks for the afternoon matinees. Carol was a regular at the Monday night ladies Bowling league at Dudek’s Bowling alley. You could also find Carol playing cards at the Warren Senior Center. Carol was an amazing cook and loved to cook for her friends and family.
Carol was very blessed to have been a recipient of two organ transplants. Without the generosity of her organ donors the family would not have had all these years with her.

Jamrog of Warren, RI; her grandchildren, Katelynne, Thomas, Nicole, Dylan, Brett and Abigail; and her great grandchildren, Paisley, Mackenzie and Noah.
