Carole Ann Thomas, 60, of Highview Avenue, died Friday, August 22, 2003, at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Norman and Eloise (Parks) Salvatore, she was a lifelong resident of Warren.

She had worked in food service for several local restaurants for many years, and in food service for the Barrington School Department for 10 years.

She was a communicant of St. Mary of the Bay Church, where she had volunteered for many years with her parents.

She was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, Chapter 13.

She leaves a daughter, Michelle Tanner of Warren; and three sons, Michael C. Tanner and Marc L. Thomas, both of Warren, and Matthew C. Tanner of Nashua, N.H.

Burial will be in St. Mary of the Bay Cemetery.
