Obituary For Carolyn Arruda

Carolyn Arruda ,90, of Warren, passed away unexpectedly April 2nd. Carolyn was a lifelong resident of Warren a daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Sullo) Lastoria. She was the loving wife of Herman P. Arruda.

She worked as an inspector for Carol Cable for 18 years. Carolyn was the head of the Warren Senior Citizens and a Communicant of St. Alexanders Church.

Beloved mother of Gloria M. and Richard Medeiros and Anne Arruda of Warren; Herman P. Arruda of East Providence, and Michael J. and Colleen Arruda of Eugene Or. Sister of Antoinette Nappi of Bristol and Mary Frederick of Fall River. Grandmother of Kevin Medeiros, Suzanne Feather, Alexander, Andrew, Austin and Adam Arruda. Great grandmother of 4. She was the sister of the late Tony Lastoria, Concetta Cadille and Virginia DeLeo.

Arrangements are with Smith Funeral and Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd., Warren, where the family will receive friends Monday, April 7th, 4-8PM. Funeral Tuesday, 9am from the funeral home, with a Mass of Christian burial at 10 am in St Alexanders Church, 221 Main St Warren. Burial in St Alexanders Cemetery. wjsmithfh.com
