So very sorry to uou all. We loved having Mr. Allen as a mail carrier for many years. No one has come close to his service and smile. Loved that I could also be his "paper person" and then to know that our families were connected with other special family friends. Our heartfelt condolences.

Mary and I were saddened by the loss of Mr. Allen. I use the "Mr" not because he expected it but rather because I respected him so deeply! He was part of the "greatest generation" serving his nation selflessly during World War Two! Mr. Allen was also very kind and encouraging to me when I was visiting with my now Brother- in-law Roy. He and Mrs. Allen were always great hosts. There 4th of July celebrations, which my family loved being a part of, were epoch! It was truly a great privilege to be part of this wonderful family celebration. Now a few quotes we may have heard from Mr.Allen. "I used to work in a calendar factory, but I got fired for taking a couple of days off." "What does a dentist get upon retirement? ...A little plaque." "What do you call a person who is happy on Monday? ......In Heaven like me." I'm so very grateful for being "part of" the Allen family. When everyone gets together ALL of the Allen's always have made me feel like family and to this day still do! Roy Warren Allen marrying my sister was not only great for my sister but also for me! I am truly blessed and grateful for knowing Mr.& Mrs. Allen! They are both now in Paradise with our lord and savior Jesus Christ.

T- Allen you have been a huge part of my life . Always telling a joke with you great sense of humor. I think I was about eight years old when we were in your house and T Florence was piercing everyone's ears. Well, I was determined not to get my ears done. Get that needle stuck in my ear with those two ice cubes. You said I will give you all the money in my pockets. If you get your ears pierced. Little did I know you could say, emptied out your pockets other than just a few bits of change and yes, I got my ears pierced that day with those two ice cubes and the needle. You did give me all the change in your pocket, which was probably about two hours and change. But they are the only holes in my ears because I've never ever had my ears pierced again a day I will never forget. The many fourth of July celebrations we had at your house. More food than anyone can eat, but we were there playing games listening to the guitars playing you and Bobby. I am very grateful that we have all those memories. May you rest in peace and give T - Florence and hug from me .as you will be reunited. I will miss you so much but you will not ever be forgotten 😢❤️😢
