Obituary For Charles B. Butterworth

Charles Butterworth, 65, of Warren, RI, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, April 28, 2023, after a long battle with cancer. A son of the late Charles and Shirley (Cadima) Butterworth and the loving husband of Donna (Smith) Butterworth, Charles was a lifelong resident of Warren. Charles was always very active and continued to work at his business, Butterworth Painting for over 40 years until the end of his life. In his free time, he loved to go fishing and quahogging which also went hand-in-hand with his love of boating. He was an avid New England sports fan and enjoyed watching the Patriots and Red Sox. Most of all, Charles loved spending time with his dogs, Dolly and Whit, and his beloved family which includes five grandchildren. He also liked listening to The Doors, gardening, and spending time on the Kicki. In addition to his loving wife, Donna, Charles is survived by his sons, Jacob Hezekiah Butterworth and his wife Leigh of Warren, RI and Corey Tyler Butterworth and his fiancé Aristina Pires of Bristol, RI; his brother, Steven Butterworth of New Hampshire; his sisters, Patricia Butterworth-Massa of Warwick, RI and Rebekah Butterworth-Arruda of Warren, RI; and his five grandchildren, Madison, Makenna, Aubrielle, Aelynn, and Colson Butterworth. He was the brother of the late Susan Butterworth. Services are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, RI, where the family will receive relatives and guests for Visitation on Saturday, May 6, 2023, from 9 AM to 12.. A Service will be held in the Funeral Home at 11:30AM. Burial will be private at the family cemetery (Warren Historical Cemetery #4) along Long Lane in Warren.     I'm so sorry to read this I was wondering how he was doing because I hadn't seen him in a while here at Home Depot Seekonk he was such a nice man liked to talk to him when he came to buy his paint I'm so sorry for your loss
