Obituary For Charles William Dunbar III

Dunbar, Charles W. III, 57 of Warren, previously of Portsmouth, passed away Saturday, June 26th at Newport Hospital. Born in Providence, a son of Irene (Rainey) Dunbar and the late Charles W. Dunbar, Jr. He was a self employed shell fisherman. His greatest love was his family and time with his grandchildren. He loved the ocean, his motorcycle, traveling, his cats, and his many friends. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife of 38 years, Carol (Mis) Dunbar; a son, Shane W. Dunbar, two grandchildren Brandon and Grayson Dunbar all of Baytown, TX. Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren where family will receive friends Friday, July 2nd, 5-8pm. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Warren Animal Shelter, 1 Joyce Street, Warren, RI 02885. In memo write RUFF, Building fund.

Carol, Shane, Irene & Family, I am truly devastated by your loss. I remember you all and how tragic this must be for you. I always remember Charlie just as he is in this picture, always smiling, so soft spoken. I wish I had continued to keep in touch with you better over the years.
