Obituary For Cheryl Ann Unsworth

Cheryl Unsworth, 66, of North Providence, RI, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. A daughter of the late Francis and Lena (Campagne) Unsworth, she was a long-time resident of North Providence. Cheryl worked as a driver for Imperial for many years until her retirement. In her free time, Cheryl was an avid Red Sox fan and never missed a game. She enjoyed going to see them play any chance she got to, either at home or away. Cheryl is survived by her sister, Frances Lombardo of Warren; her brother, Joseph A. Unsworth and his wife Patricia of Las Vegas, NV and her nephew, Brian Unsworth of CA. She was the aunt of the late Richard T. Lombardo, Kelly A. Unsworth and Linda M. Gatta. Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd. Warren, RI. Our heartfelt condolences to Cheryl's family and friends. Cheryl was a wonderful friend to me and my family for at least forty-five years. She watched my husband and I raise our children, baked mounds of cookies for us for every occasion, including my son's wedding, and was beyond thoughtful and generous.
